The first day of the new year i had 2 house cooking sessions, probably it is a sign.. Had not caught up with Wang, Minyu and Deb for long thus met up for his birthday and have a cooking session! Fun, fun heh... Hope you enjoyed yourself Wang =) These friends are how special to me... i know them ever since Secondary one, which was 8 years ago. It is funny how people you dislike could turn out to be close friends. Wang is my closest guy friend all the time, a true platonic friendship that lasted till now. Thank god for these friends, whom i know will always be there no matter what..though we seldom see each other...
To me, no friendships will ever end, i will not deem any friends are lost despite any distance. There will always be up and downs in any relationships, it is the efforts put in to resolve and to make things better that make it even more worthy. No pain, no gain
There are a couple of girlfriends, whom really go missing after being attached. Missing as in really missing, never bother organise outings and never bother to go out despite asking them umpteen times, 1 i haven seen her for years, others haven hang out for months. Seriously, i wonder if friends are really nothing to them. Sometimes i wonder, what is a friend to them. One whom they call upon when they have trouble though they dont wish to come clean with friends about their life? One whom they find back only when that guy leave them? I never displayed displeasure to them of what they had done, ultimately it is their life. But it will come to a point where a one-sided relationship becomes tiring and i will just chill and let nature takes its course. Wait for their return...
I do spend lots time with Alvin as well, sometimes i feel guilty treating Alvin so much nicer haha but i guess you cant help but give what you receives... but i had been tryin hard to have a balance between my family, friends and boyfriend. Thus my new year resolution is to be a better friend, better sister, better daughter and better girlfriend. =D
Every year, i wish for a happier year compared to the previous and i think my wish had been pretty fulfilled. 2006 was a fruitful year, especially academically. Just hope this year be better than the previous. =)
