vforvendetta

Finally had a chance to catch a movie last night, Alvie and i visited the majestic new Cathay cineplex, to our dismay, there was no nice shows as we were set to catch "V for Vendetta"
We rushed to Plaza sing in 8 minutes to catch the 930pm slot and missed few minutes of the front part.
my 2 hours watching it was not wasted, it was a massive popcorn entertainment. The show's casting and plot is worth every cent. Natalie portman's presence made the show more tasteful too..
Power pack movie, everything was so intellectually arousing...Especially when they were talking about the genetic warfare research, i was getting high in the theatre because i just did a project on that. Our conclusion might come true in years down the road. Countries might make use of genetic warfare to kill and gain power instead of using traditional guns and powder.. with that, you wouldnt even know who killed you. A book Rainbow Six had such genetic warfare nicely planned, and said that it could be executed during Olympics where sportsmen all over the world assemble. Scary eh..

However, i do not like the idea that behind this movie... True, V might have done it for a justified cause et cetera, i just wondered why there werent any uproar about such a show. It seems to be showing the demise of UK government. And i feel they might make terrorist somewhere out in the world to be inspired by such ingenius plot.. Chills.. what is the world becoming.. sigh...
